They noticed how challenging it could be for people, including themselves, to find local stores for their specific needs, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic’s lockdowns.
Taking the Leap: From Idea to Action with NearMes.com
Struck by the lack of a centralized, user-friendly platform to solve this problem, they decided to launch NearMes.com on November 21, 2022. The website was created with one core mission – to help people quickly and easily find local stores tailored to their needs. The platform started small, initially serving just New York City’s five boroughs. Yet, within the first six months, we saw over 50,000 unique users on our platform, a testament to the need for our service.
Growth and Expansion: Serving Across the Nation
Now, as we approach our first anniversary, NearMes.com serves more than 300 cities across the United States, boasting over 2 million unique users and over 10 million local store listings. We have successfully connected millions of people with local stores, adding convenience to their lives and helping local businesses thrive. As we continue to grow, we are committed to serving our community and fostering local commerce.
